Come see the tour heralded by The New York Times, Washington Post, and Le Monde!
A collaboration with Stephen Powers (aka ESPO), Love Letter consists of 50 rooftop murals that collectively express a love letter from a guy to a girl, from an artist to his hometown, and from local residents to their West Philadelphia neighborhood. Guides help to point out the murals and provide color commentary. They also lead participants off the train to spot murals from train platforms.
Times: Saturday 10 – 11:30 am & Sunday 1:00 – 2:30 pm
Departure: Tour departs from Mural Arts at The Gallery at 9th & Market Sts., Level 2 (next to Wet Seal). Plan to arrive 15 minutes before the tour departure time.
Vehicle: SEPTA Market-Frankford Elevated "El" Train
Parking: There are two parking garages at The Gallery at Market East. One is on 10th Street and the other on 12th Street. They are both located between Arch and Filbert Streets.
