Second Friday @ Neighborhood Time Exchange

“Neighborhood Time Exchange has changed the way I understand community treasures. [These artists] have been a true treasure helping the Mill Creek Advisory Council. Their hard work was invaluable.”

Angela Simon, Mill Creek Advisory Council/Mill Creek Playground, via Facebook
Get a firsthand look at all the exciting activity from the past three months as West Philadelphia residents have worked with our second cohort of artists: Black Quantum Futurism Collective, Macon Reed, Matt Neff, and Sasha Phyars-Burgess.
This Second Friday event is free and open to the public. Enjoy live music performances, a reading by the Black Quantum Futurism Collective, and live screenprinting by Matt Neff. Refreshments will be served.
Neighborhood Time Exchange brings artists to the studio space at 4017 Lancaster Avenue in West Philadelphia, to collaborate with community members on creative projects that transform their block. For every hour the artists spend working on their own projects, they provide an hour of volunteer time to nearby residents who have great ideas for improving public spaces.
