Please join us for the opening reception of works created by students in the Mural Training Program.

The City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program is always looking to expand its pool of professional mural artists, and offers a Mural Training Program for artists who are interested in learning how to adapt their studio painting skills to public mural making.  The goal of this training is to teach artists who already have strong basic painting foundations the skills to work collaboratively with communities to create public art murals.

The works in this exhibition feature works created by the students of this year’s class:  Ronaldo Byrd, Suzanne Ives Cunningham, Brujo de la Mancha, Daryle Halbert, Christine Kuhn, Lucia Michel, Jino Park, Lynn Pauley, Michelle Perez, William Reynolds, Bernardo Ruiz, Alexandra Spinney, Sara Stamford, Michael Stone, and Jared Wood.

Exhibition will be on display from May 12 through June 3, 2011.

Gallery hours are 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday, or by appointment.

Gallery will be closed on Memorial Day.
