Visiting Artists & Organizers from Italy

What started as a conversation in 2021 has become an opportunity for cross-cultural learning and collaboration. Pigment Workroom, a multidisciplinary arts studio based in Southern Italy, joins Mural Arts Philadelphia in a shared commitment to fostering innovative creators while strengthening community resilience to support climate justice. We are honored and excited to work alongside our Italian peers! Through visits across continents, this partnership has taken place over 12 months with knowledge sharing and engagement with X-Farm (an intergenerational space reclaimed from organized crime operations) and with artist and environmental engineer Andrea Conte (Studio Andreco).

Join us on July 19 at 6 pm for a presentation and conversation with our Italian visitors at Yards Brewing Company. Light “happy hour” snacks will be provided from 6 pm – 7 pm, with time for continued discussions through 8 pm.
