Art of Survival Screening at Prevention Point

Hidden River Films and Mural Arts Philadelphia, in partnership with Prevention Point Philadelphia, present a preview screening of the documentary film Art of Survival . The film captures the energy and spirit of the Kensington Storefront, an open arts studio that for three years offered a cup of coffee, a snack, and a chance to make art—in the heart of Philadelphia’s drug crisis. The film brings viewers into the unique community that flourished at the Storefront and provides a hopeful contrast to the bleak media portrayals of Kensington and its many challenges.
