Special Tour: South Philly to Lemon Hill

This round trip “river to river” tour leaves from and returns to 4th St & Oregon Ave. 

Here is the general itinerary for the day:

10:30- Meet at 4th and Oregon (north side of the street by the field *look for the colorful bus)

11am- promptly leave 

11:30 – Arrive to 27th and Pennsylvania, short walk to Lemon Hill picnic site

11:30-12:30 picnic and overview of area

12:30- walk down to Kelly Drive and surrounding trails

2:30 – Bus leave promptly from 29th and Pennsylvania

3pm Return to 4th and Oregon

This is meant to be an active trip and there will be some walking along nature trails and up/down small hills. Please prepare with comfortable shoes, sunscreen, hat and a picnic blanket if you prefer. We also suggest you bring a water bottle. We will also have water available. Lunch will be provided. We hope after this ride, you feel comfortable returning to explore this area with your family, friends and community.
