Metamorphosis Mural Dedication

Mural Arts Philadelphia and Hope Partnership for Education dedicate a new mural on the school’s 11th Street façade, Metamorphosis Mural, created by L.A.-based muralist Paige Smith. This spring-themed mural will bring much welcomed visual vibrancy to the neighborhood and will foster discussion among residents. The event is also a culmination of three Origami Butterfly workshops for community members this spring where the paper art will be ‘released’ upon the mural’s reveal. Hope Partnership is overjoyed to collaborate with Mural Arts Philadelphia given our shared values and priorities in beautifying the city of Philadelphia for all residents.
