Kristallnacht Commemoration

The Philadelphia Holocaust Remembrance Foundation and Mural Arts Philadelphia, together with the City of Philadelphia invite you to a special event to commemorate Kristallnacht, “the Night of Broken Glass.” A turning point in the history of the Holocaust, Kristallnacht marked the shift from antisemitic rhetoric and legislation to antisemitic violence and deportations.

We will gather at the Holocaust Memorial Plaza to commemorate Kristallnacht, listen to Klezmer music, and engage in the creation of mosaic art. We will stand in unity against antisemitism and all forms of bigotry in our society today.
