Rippling Moon: An Urban Fairytale, a powerful new mural project by renowned artist Meg Saligman, shows us that healing can begin with a single point and then ripple through a community.

This panel event, inspired by Rippling Moon, features a series of conversations pairing muralists and leaders of organizations that have worked with Porch Light. Each pair will discuss their experiences with the intersection of public art, community wellness, and behavioral health. The event will kick off with a performance from Brian Sanders’ JUNK, choreographerd in conjunction with Rippling Moon.

Panelists include muralist Eric Okdeh, muralist Calo Rosa, Meg Saligman, HACE Executive Director Maria Gonzalez, Children’s Crisis Treatment Center Executive Director Antonio Valdés, and DBHIDS Commissioner David Jones. The conversation will be moderated by Michael O’Bryan of The Village of Arts and Humanities.
