New Murals at the Fillmore and Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia

Mural Arts Philadelphia and The Fillmore Philadelphia are celebrating the completion of four murals by a curated selection of artists from the 2022 cohort of the Philadelphia Fellowship for Black Artists on July 22, 2023. The murals are displayed on the Brooklyn Bowl side of the Fillmore on Frankford Avenue in Fishtown. The venue inspired the general theme of the project, music and Philly, with each artist choosing their own interpretation. These are the first public murals that these artists have ever created. There will be free bowling and lite fare snacks to follow the dedication, along with a live performance by Al Zamora.
