“Love Lot” Dedication

Join us as we cut the ribbon to officially dedicate the “Love Lot” on July 25 from 1-3 pm. Prevention Point Philadelphia and Mural Arts Philadelphia worked with Philadelphia Artist Jacob C.Hammes to completely makeover a vacant lot next door to Prevention Point’s main building in the heart of Kensington to be a welcoming, useful, colorful place where community members can gather and participate in services. Prevention Point is a public health and social services nonprofit that works to promote health, empowerment, and safety for communities affected by drug use and poverty. PPP uses a harm reduction-based approach in everything, meeting people where they are in life and helping them protect themselves and others. PPP offers a broad range of medical and social services and connects people with a variety of resources to help them reach their self-defined goals.
