The Philadelphia (Budget) Story – a Comic Workshop

The budget affects every Philadelphian directly. Our stories reveal where funding should go to create a liberated city. For this workshop, we’ll create a brief four-panel comic that reframes your experiences living in Philadelphia to stories (maybe that burgeoning pothole on your street is a portal to another dimension!) and ways the budget can benefit our communities (the Streets Department superheroes close the portal in the knick of time!) No drawing experience is required–just like the budget, comics are for everyone. Come prepared with your story of the city and an idea of how to improve it.
