Lotus Diamond

Shepard Fairey and his team worked with Mural Arts to produce his first large-scale mural in the city, Lotus Diamond. The project reacquainted Fairey to Mural Arts, and set the stage for his return in 2015 as a participating artist in the Open Source exhibition. Lotus Diamond has become an iconic sight on Frankford Avenue in Fishtown. The mural was removed in 2019 when the building was demolished to make way for new construction.
