A Beautiful Spectrum

This mural is entitled A Beautiful Spectrum by muralist Phillip Adams and speaks to the beautiful and complex spectrum of autism. The artist engaged youth receiving services from SPIN-NET PACE in social skills groups, as well as their parents, to explore stigma related to autism, the challenges associated with the diagnosis, and inherent strengths of the individuals and autism community. Through workshops, paint days, and design discussions, the project aimed to educate communities and promote inclusion of individuals living with autism. The project also included a book also entitled A Beautiful Spectrum.
