A Window of Stories

A Window of Stories by artist Phillip Adams is located in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The mural was created through interactions with residents of Park Pleasant Nursing Home, community members, and students from the spring 2007 Big Picture class at the University of Pennsylvania taught by Donald Gensler and Jane Golden. Artist Phillip Adams worked with stakeholders to develop imagery based on ideas brought forth during community meetings, including buildings having memories and stories, and residents’ memories both past and present.
