House Flowers

House Flowers by artist Ana Uribe was located in the Ludlow neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The design of this mural was intended to unite a few houses that made up the local health center into a small bright village with lots of flowers and vines growing on top of the buildings. Students from the Mural Arts’s Big Picture program painted the bottom of the wall with flowered pots. Uribe experimented in this mural with the ideas of what is and what is not real. She did this by including real flower along with her painted flowers in the overall design.

Location Note: Mural no longer on view at this location (painted out ca. 2020).
