Antes de la Iluvia (Before the Rain)

Jet Wine Bar is called a “Global Wine Bar” and it is out of that spirit that CALO, an artist born in San Salvador, brings his design of tropical flora to the site. The gestural, lyrical, and natural imagery speaks to the aesthetic of the garden cafe space of which the wall is a perimeter. “This design was inspired by the colors and movement of tropical flora in those moments just before rain falls,“ says CALO.

CALO lives near the mural site and has other projects in the area, creating an international/local moment.
