Jenks School interior mural (title unknown)

This interior mural (title unknown) by artist Jane Degenhardt-Kutzer is painted on an interior wall in the John S. Jenks School in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Featuring scenes of a forest in fall this mural provides a splash of color to the school hallways. As well as giving a small history lesson with its scenes depicting Native American life in what is now Pennsylvania. These scenes showcase the stewardship of the land and resources that Native communities continue to be a major part of today. An unbroken line of responsibility and care for the environment that extends from before first contact with Europeans.
