Sunset Corridor

Sunset Corridor is the culmination of Mural Arts Philadelphia and its Art Education program’s collaboration with Alumbra, an artist collective with members living between Philadelphia and Mexico City. This temporary light art installation was created by students at the Mt Vernon Street Walkway, a pedestrian thoroughfare between Waring Elementary School and Roberto Clemente Playground in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This installation hopes to make the walkway a safer nighttime destination for the community.
