Chalmer’s Field

Chalmer’s Field by artist Robert Minervini is painted on a wall facing the interior of Chalmer’s Park in the North Philadelphia. Centered around two massive sunflowers, this mural is bursting with cultivated beauty. Behind each of the smiling faces of the painted community members are a plethora of flowers. These images combine to bring a level of vibrant vitality to the area. A community willing to put in the work to see the area around them, like a well tended garden, bloom and grow.
