Many Voices Many Eyes

Many Voices Many Eyes by artist Diane Peri is an interior mural located in the John Paul Jones Middle School in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bordered by a yellow band sixteen individual rectangles each containing an abstract pattern (likely based on student drawings and designs) make up this mural. In reference to its title, this mural gives a glimpse into the world of some of the students at the school. Each student has their own voice, and their own way of seeing the world around them, those differences are reflected clearly in Peri’s mural which serves as a daily reminder that difference is beautiful.
