Uptown Theater

The color schemes of the murals parallel the Art Deco style of the Uptown Theater building. Subjects include displays of iconic hitmakers who graced the theater, two rhythmic dance scenes, and a visual honor to Philadelphia Broadcast Pioneer Hall of Fame inductee, Mr. Georgie Woods. This temporary mural was installed at the Uptown Theater as part of the Philadelphia Free Streets event on August 11, 2018.
