Powelton Porch

Powelton Porch by Lindsay Liddy and Brian Senft was located in the Powelton Village neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The inspiration for this mural came from Richard Haas’s Trompe l’oeil murals in Soho, NY, Charleston, W. VA, and Philadelphia. The mural served as a backdrop for the community garden Liddy and her husband cultivated in a formerly vacant lot. The project was a combination of designing/painting, architecture, and horticulture.

Location Note: Mural is no longer on view at this location (painted out in 2011).
