Tribute to Firefighter Daniel Sweeney

Mural Arts Philadelphia partnered with the Fox Chase community to create a mural honoring Firefighter Daniel Sweeney who lost his life in the line of duty on April 9, 2012 while protecting the citizens of Philadelphia. This mural, by Philadelphia-based artist Nathaniel Lee, focuses on Sweeney’s life growing up in Fox Chase and his career with the Philadelphia Fire Department.
