| BACK TO BACK | SIDE TO SIDE | EAR TO EAR |

| BACK TO BACK | SIDE TO SIDE | EAR TO EAR | by artist Kita Rich is a mural located at the Fillmore/Brooklyn Bowl in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The venue inspired the general theme of the project, music and Philly, with each artist choosing their own interpretation. Rich created the mural as member of the 2022 cohort of artists that were part of the The Philadelphia Fellowship for Black Artists. These are the first public murals that these artists have ever created.

The Philadelphia Fellowship for Black Artists was designed in 2020 to fund, foster, and elevate the important work of emerging Black artists residing within the City of Philadelphia. In addition to providing unrestricted funds to support their art practice, fellows also have the option to access networking opportunities, career development workshops, exhibition opportunities, consultations with renowned curators and opportunities to create new work. The Fellowship is open to African-American or Black artists residing in Philadelphia who have not worked for Mural Arts Philadelphia in a Lead Artist capacity within a year of their application date.

Location Note: The murals are displayed on the Brooklyn Bowl side of the Fillmore on Frankford Avenue in Fishtown.
