Pedal Thru

Pedal Thru (Bikin’ in the O-Zone) by artist Paul Santoleri is located in the North Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The mural is a 300 foot long mural is painted next to one of the most traveled highways in the country, Interstate-95. It features a slice of a bicycle cruising through the city with a background of clouds. The clouds are filled with images of greenhouse gas molecules coming from the endless highways. This is contrasted with the molecules of air and water which fill the clouds behind the bicycle.
