Philadelphia Pharmacy

Philadelphia Pharmacy by artist Parris Stancell was located in Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Painted over the top of a mural from the late 1990s, this mural was an example of Mural Arts Philadelphia’s continued commitment to the upkeep of their murals. Painted on the side of a historic pharmacy, the mural encompassed two sides of the building with Stancell’s vibrant colors, large figures and movement to sweep the eye from one wall to the next, drawing in passers by.
