Koi Crazy

Koi Crazy by artist Jane Degenhardt-Kutzer was located in the North Philadelphia neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The purpose of this mural was to catch peoples’ attention through a vivid depiction of a beautiful pond full of koi goldfish. The mural accomplishes this in a big way.

As the mural’s sponsor, Joseph Zuritsky, President of Parkway Corporation and Quality Koi Company explains:

“We helped the artist in coloring and patterning the fish so that they would be authentic to the numerous varieties of koi. It was quite an enjoyable process. And the result is wonderful beautiful art that beautifies the neighborhood.”
