Layers of Haddington

Layers of Haddington by artist Jonathan Laidacker is located in the Haddington neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Like the neighborhood that surrounds it, this mural has layers. Painted to look like a partial garden scene, portions of the mural appeared to be wiped away to reveal photographs of people, places, and activities that occur in the community. This mural was painted in collaboration with the City of Philadelphia’s Mural Corps art education students.
