Walking the Wisshickon

Walking the Wissahickon by Brian Ames aims to reconnect neighbors with the nearby Wissahickon Creek. It is installed on the side of Earth Bread + Brewery, a restaurant and brewpub co-owned by Peggy Zwerver and Tom Baker. The mural’s theme is in keeping with Earth Bread’s business philosophy of sustainability and environmental stewardship. Artist Brian Ames is both a muralist and arborist who owns a tree and landscape service. The mural is located in the Mt. Airy neighborhood.
