Routing For You

Routing for You by artist Shira Walinsky is a mural that celebrates the rich cultures and life of Southeast Philadelphia. The image is of a map going from Mifflin Street to Oregon Avenue between the stadium and the river. Each block highlights known landmarks such as the Whitman Library and the Houston Center. Walinsky collected drawings from students at Key School that helped inform the mural design and attended various events to find out what residents in the neighborhood thought were the most important landmarks that should be included. This project was funded by the Asian Mosaic Fund, City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and disAbilities Services, and Joseph & Jane Goldblum.
