Serenity

Serenity by artist Angela Crafton is located in the Upper Holmesburg neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Painted on two sides of an indoor recreation area at the Riverside Correctional Facility, this mural provides a view of nature in a place that can be stressful, giving the inmates a moment of reflection. The mural was completed with assistance from the women of The Philadelphia Mural Arts Program class in The Options Program at Riverside Correctional Facility.
