Upward and Onward to Success

Upward and Onward to Success by artist Jared Bader is located at the KIPP Philadelphia Elementary Academy in the Tioga neighborhood of Philadelphia. The mural was designed in cooperation with KIPP faculty to inspire students to always strive for success through education. It depicts students in an urban landscape striding through different early life stages. At each stage, they are surrounded by books and science, sports and musical equipment towards the ultimate goal: graduation.
