The FLYERS/Tacony Mural

Tacony Mural by artist David McShane is located in the Tacony neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The owner of the building is a big fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, so they asked if hockey could be incorporated into the mural. Neighbors asked if there could be something to represent the neighborhood as well so McShane added the Tacony-Palmyra bridge to the design. This blended perfectly with the hockey theme allowing McShane to show a fictional Flyers player on the ice with rival team the New Jersey Devils, since New Jersey is visible from the bridge.
