Lee Cultural Center mural

This mural at Lee Cultural Center created by artist Michael Schall is located in the West Powelton neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A deep blue background filled with clouds is contrasted with the browns and tans of the body and heads of African inspired drums. A single drummer with sunglasses stares to the right hands in motion over the head of his own drum playing a music that can be hear in a viewers head and around the neighborhood.

The mural was restored in 2006 by Walter Mercado.
