Wissahickon Woods

Wissahickon Woods celebrates the beautiful Wissahickon Creek that winds through much of Fairmount Park, where all Philadelphians can visit to reconnect with nature. The view is from Forbidden Drive and shows a waterfall and one of the iconic Wissahickon bridges. Highlighted in circles across this summertime forest scene are many local woodland inhabitants, plants, fish, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and birds. The central fox is the student-selected mascot of the school. This mural replaces a forest scene, originally painted by Ana Uribe.
