A Mother’s Love

A Mother’s Love by Willis “Nomo” Humphrey is located at the Whosoever Gospel Mission in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. The mural was dedicated in 2014 to the Bethea family and Karen Bethea, who lost three sons to gun violence. The mural was intended to spark a conversation about violence among young people and to help them understand that crime and violence are not to be viewed as normal.
