Blue Stream

Blue Stream by artist Michael Schwartz is located in the Haddington neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Framed by a broad red band of color full of the outlines of leaves found throughout Pennsylvania, this mural presents a window to an idyllic natural view surrounded by the urban landscape. A blue stream from which the mural gets its title runs towards the viewer on the left hand side of the painting stemming from an unseen source high in the mountains of the background. The right side of the mural is dominated by large trees and a bed of flowers providing additional depth of field.
