Botanical Wall

Botanical Wall by artist Ana Uribe is located at the Sloan Street Community Garden in Philadelphia’s Saunders Park neighborhood. Uribe took her inspiration for this mural from a series of botanical drawings based on 18th century watercolor illustrations. Also included are other exotic flowers and insects inspired by a book given to Uribe by her sister.

The mural was restored in 2022 and again in 2024. In 2026, it was expanded to an additional wall at the request of community garden members.
