Career

Career by artist Felix Osiemi is an interior mural in the Joseph C. Ferguson School located in the North Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This project was part of a five year partnership between the School District of Philadelphia and Mural Arts Philadelphia which provided new murals for 100 schools and their surrounding communities.

The murals theme, career, was chosen by the school to show different career goals to encourage students at Ferguson to stay focused on their studies. Osiemi used realism to express the different pictorial images so the students could have a clear understanding of the message: no matter the profession – art, basketball, medicine – one needs to study to attain their career goals.
