Cedar Park Mosaics

The mosaics in Cedar Park by artists Jonny Buss and Mike Smash decorate several ledges and pillars at the entrances to the park in the West Philadelphia. Each ledge is slightly different from the others but stays consistent with the central theme of blending into the park to become part of the more naturalizes surroundings of the green space. Featuring intricate mosaic tile work both large and small tiles, the ledges provide not only a place to sit while enjoying the park but also a way to move people through the space as they explore what was created for their community.
