Civil Rights Mural

Civil Rights Mural by artist Cavin Jones is located in the Fairhill neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The mural was commissioned by the Friends Society of Philadelphia, in honor of Lucretia Mott. Mott was an an early feminist activist and strong proponent of ending slavery. A strong orator she spoke at numerous events about the perils of racial and gender prejudice.
