							Cornerstone Christian Academy
This series of six untitled murals painted by Eric Okdeh are on the interior of a multi-use room at Cornerstone Christian Academy in the Kingsessing neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Painted on two main walls, this mural created in partnership with inmates from Graterford (now SCI-Phoenix) a maximum security corrections facility in Pennsylvania. The mural is one of a series of murals created as part of the “All Join Hands, Visions of Peace Project” a Mural Arts initiative designed to combat youth violence. Filled with aspirational imagery like high school graduation, clasped hands, and doves, this mural was designed to help the students look towards a brighter future full of peace and prosperity.
Location Note: This mural is inside a school building, and therefore not accessible for public viewing.
