Edgar Allen Poe

Edgar Allen Poe by artist Peter Pagast is located near the Edgar Allen Poe National Historic Site in the North Philadelphia. The mural is painted near this site where Poe lived for six years and where he purportedly began his seminal work The Raven. The mural is a familiar portrait of the author. The mural features the following text from the story Hop-Frog:
