Ethiopian Garden

Ethiopian Gardem by artist Shira Walinsky was located in the West Philadelphia neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Ethiopian Garden was inspired by the colorful patterns of Ethiopian architecture in the Ethiopian city of Harar. Artist, Joe Brennman worked on the stained glass bird component. The tiles, created by community members and the University of Pennsylvania class, represent different patterns in the neighborhood. The project was a collaboration with ArtWorks! Youth.
