Fairhill Says Up With Hope

Fairhill Says Up With Hope by artist Calvin Jones was located in the Farihill/Hartranft neighborhoods of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Created in partnership with The Village of Arts and Humanities, a local nonprofit focused on the arts and community revitalization, the mural blends both Black and African cultures in a pleasing visual mix. Jones designed this mural to be representative of the neighborhood. A focus is put on the arts and humanities, topics that are often pushed out of scholastic education but have a place of primacy in the homes, neighborhood streets and community centers of Philadelphia.
