Fairmount

The mural was designed by artists David Guinn and Phillip Adams as a gateway to Fairmount Park. The image depicts cliffs topped with two gazebos behind the Philadelphia Museum of Art near the Waterworks. The cliffs are drawn in charcoal using an innovative method, with transparent washes of acrylic paint layered on top of the charcoal drawing.
