Flora (east panel)

Flora, designed by artist Eurhi Jones and painted by Ernel Martinez, is painted on the sides of two Philadelphia Housing Authority homes in the Hartranft neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bursting with bright flowers and on a neutral backdrop these two murals bring a light to the neighborhood that is otherwise full red brick faced suburban homes. These flowers represent a vision of the community they are in, one will of health and vibrancy. A community that cares enough for each other that sun, water, and beauty become top priorities. These two murals for a garden gateway into the minds of the people who live around them breaking the monotony of city life and bringing in elements of the natural world.

Location Note: Murals are located at 2341 North 13th Street and 2344 North 13th Street.
