Free and Clean

Libre y Limpio/Free and Clean was created by Henry Bermudez. Community input was gathered through a series of community meetings held with the West Kensington Neighbors Association at the Kensington Storefront and the Cardinal Bevilacqua Community Center.

The mural, located on a busy street, provides a sense of freedom and spirituality through its use of clouds and birds as visual elements rendered in bright colors. The artist’s goal was to convey a positive message of recovery.
