Fringe Festival Mural

Fringe Festival Mural by artist Tom Judd is located in the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Judd’s mural takes the form of a loose collage similar to his works on canvas, giving rise to a series of images that, when interpreted together, bring a greater meaning than any one part alone. It was painted as a submission to the Fringe Festival, a yearly event founded in the spirit of the original Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scottland, organized around the premise that if you have a space you can create art there (as long as you have permission by the owner!).
